What Are The Side Effects Of Modus 10 Mg?

I am 36 and taking modus 10 mg twice daily since last 27 days and the doctor prescribed for 3 months. He also advised me to reduce the weight by 7 kgs. as I am now 66 kg. My height is 5ft 4 inch. What may theside effects that may I suffer from? Also, is this period safe for me for intercourse with y husband without any extra prevention? Please suggest me.

Hi,

Modus 10 mg contains medroxyprogesterone acetate which is used to regulate periods, stop irregular bleeding and help with withdrawal bleeding in cases of amenorrhea. Side effects of Modus are nausea, vomiting, headache, GIT upset, abdominal pain, weakness, dizziness, nervousness, hair loss, weight gain, acnes, vaginal discharge, breast tenderness and enlargement, depression, mood swings, blurred vision, joint pain, allergic reactions etc. While it is highly unusual to become pregnant during taking Modus. Thus, it is safe for you for sexual activities without any extra prevention during taking this medication.
