Montair LC contains Monteleukast and Levosetirizine. Monteleukast is a leukotriene antogonist. It improves the inflammation of the bronchial mucosa in asthmatics.
Levocetirizine is an anti-histamines prescribed in
allergic rhinitis, runny nose, stuffy nose, watery eyes. It inhibits the histamine release which induces the allergic reactions.
Side effects of the drug are headache, nausea,
tiredness, weakness, sleepiness, diarrhea,
stomach upset, dry mouth. These symptoms will recover on its own. If the symptoms are severe enough to disturbs the normal activities, visit the Doctor for alternative medication. It has no interaction with
thyroxine drug.
