What Are The Side Effects Of Montair LC Tablet?

Explain me the side effects of montair LC tablet. I am suffering from Wheezing and the doctor advised me to take this tablet for 4 weeks continuously. Now 4 weeks are over and i was not able to consult the doctor after 4 weeks. If am not taking the tablet for one day immediately the next day wheezing starts slowly. So i bought another 20 tablets. I am taking this tablet continuously for the last 42 days. I am a thyroid person and i am taking eltroxin 100 mg daily. Doctor please give me the answer.

Hi,

Montair LC contains Monteleukast and Levosetirizine. Monteleukast is a leukotriene antogonist. It improves the inflammation of the bronchial mucosa in asthmatics. Levocetirizine is an anti-histamines prescribed in allergic rhinitis, runny nose, stuffy nose, watery eyes. It inhibits the histamine release which induces the allergic reactions.

Side effects of the drug are headache, nausea, tiredness, weakness, sleepiness, diarrhea, stomach upset, dry mouth. These symptoms will recover on its own. If the symptoms are severe enough to disturbs the normal activities, visit the Doctor for alternative medication. It has no interaction with thyroxine drug.
