Welcome to HCM This is Dr Amit. Nur-Isterate contains the active ingredient Norethisterone, it is a hormonal injection used to help prevent pregnancy. Your periods may change significantly during the first year of using the injection. They will usually become irregular and may be very heavy, or shorter and lighter, or stop altogether. This may settle down after the first year, but may continue as long as the injected drug remains in your body. So i will advice you to consult your doctor regarding this problem and investigate further Regards
