What Are The Side Effects Of Omnacortil For Chest Infection?
I am giving my wife who is suffering from dementi and her. Age is 83 years and is now quite a vegetable stage. Omnacortil 20 mg tab bd. due to her chest infection which is not going with antibiotics. My question is how long can I give this tab. What are the side effects I should be carefully about.

Omnacortil is a steroid and yes it is used in terminal chest infections not managed with steroids . Diabetes , osteoporosis , obesity and increased risk of infection s can result for which you should be vigilant .
