What Are The Side Effects Of Postinor2?

i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and did not actually remembered the last day i had my menses,so i mistakenly took 2 tablets of postinor2 at the same time after 48hrs but before the 72hrs.i have been bleeding for 4days since then.what do i do?

Hello,

The bleeding you are experiencing is most likely the withdrawal bleeding seen after the pill usage. Since you do not remember the date of your expected period, this could as well have coincided with your natural period and hence the persisting bleeding. If the bleeding does not subside in the next couple of days, please see your health care provider for further management. Styptics may be used to control the bleeding.
