Hello,
The medicines prescribed by doctors are related to the disease you are suffering from, your clinical condition(including your past and present history). Rabifine D (
domperidone and
rabeprazole) is used to treat
acid reflux / peptic ulcers. Nurostar (contains chromium, zinc, folic Acid,
methylcobalamin, niacinamide and pyridoxine) is used to boost up the immune system. Effectively reduces developing neurological and cardiac issues. Topaz 50 (topiramate) is used to treat migraine and seizures. Tryptomer 10 (
amitriptyline) is used to treat and prevent migraine attacks.
All the medicines have side effects but if taken in the correct dose for a short period of time (7-10 days) work effectively. The problem arises when patients get addicted to the medicines or start depending on it. If a healthy lifestyle is maintained and medicines are used as a support, its always beneficial. You are suggested to stay away from stress, take home made food, cut on frozen packaged food, do regular exercise/ walking, Stay well hydrated, active & cheerful.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
