What Are The Side Effects Of Sertraline?

i have been on sertraline for 16 years and in the past 3 months i have been lowering my dose and now i have been off completly for about 2 weeks but i am having some side effects that are quite bothersome what can i do about them or should i go back on a low dose to keep them from happening?

Hi

The side effects can be present even weeks after stopping the drug. Withdrawal symptoms have appeared in patients from one to three months of stopping the drug.Hence it can take between one to three months for the effects to reduce.
