I took a Plan B pill on the afternoon of January 11th. My last menstrual period before that was January 7th. I had abnormal vaginal bleeding January 16th and 17th. I am now having abnormal spotting Feb 1st, 2nd and today the 3rd. Is it normal to have side effects from the Plan B close to a month later?
Emergency pills like plan-B may cause slight alteration of menstrual cycle including irregular cycles and spotting. It is quite common and it will settle by it own in one or two cycles. Nothing much to worry and no definite treatment is required.
