What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Excessive Amoxicillin?

Hi, are there side effects of taking amoxicillin during the first two months of pregnancy? I am asking this for my niece who attempted to abort the baby since she is still studying and do not want us, her relatives to know that she got pregnant. We heard she took numerous amounts of amoxicillin capsules on the first month. Now she is on her 5th month of pregnancy. Thanks in advance for your reply. Have a nice day.

There is no evidence in the literature that tablet Amoxyl taken in the first trimester causes adverse effect on the fetus.
