I just removed a tampon that was left in from Friday, today is Sunday. I used a tampon earlier today before I found the old one. I had an odor the pass couple days. I still have an odor after the removal. Do I insert an antibiotic capsule or use the cream

Hi,
You should insert Tab Betadine vaginal pessary in vagina to disinfect the vagina even if the bleeding still continues, drop tampon for this time and take sanitary towels to be changed minimally 3 times in a day. Use the pessaries for at least 7 days. Keep genital area clean have wash every time after toilet. DO NOT take douche. In case the foul smell remains after this consult your gynecologist for specific oral medication.
