What Are The Side Effects Of Thyronorm?
Hi doctor,
Yesterday I took my mom(49yrs) to the Doctor in Sri Rama Hospital. As my mom is suffering from thyroid doctor Sadanand suggested her to take Thyronorm 100mcg through out her life. So I asked him that there is any side effects caused by this tablet. So doctor became arrogant & he started telling me that he is professor in Ramaiah college, he know what medicine he has given & started yelling at me..
1) I want to know whether the question asked by me to doctor is right or wrong.
2) Why did doctor show his arrogance on me?

Asking for the side effects is the most common question a patient does.
Usually levothyroxine does not have side effects, but is very important to take the right dose.
Over or underdosage can be associated with symptoms of hyper or hypothyroidism, to avoid it a TSH level i checked 6 weeks after starting the treatment.
