Weight gain is a common side effect of all hormonal contraceptives. Fluid retention and hormonal changes caused by the pill is responsible for the weight gain. I would suggest you to switch to other contraceptive methods and stop taking Trigestrel / triphasil pill. You can also try the loop contraception after discussing with your gynecologist and ruling out any contra-indication.
I would also suggest you to do physical exercise every day at least half an hour to reduce the extra weight. Adequate hydration is also essential to remove toxins from your body.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
