What Are The Side Effects Of Using Meftal Spas Suspension In A Baby?
hello my baby is complaining for stomach ache. A few days ago he is having stomach infection but he is fine now. doctor suggested that if he is having ache in stomach give a dose of MEFTAL - SPAS ® SUSPENSION. But we are worried is it fine to give the dose of half teaspoon in case of ache?

Your doctor prescribe MEFTAL-SPAS suspension i.e dicyclomine hydrochloride 10 mg simethicon 40 mg / 5 ml.
This is the the best drug for children for pain abdomen , cramps , flatulence , indigestion . However dicyclomin causes mild restlessness and confusion but it also provide relief in bowel movement of child ( if loose motion ) , while simethicon help in digestion .
In my opinion you can give 1/2 T S F as this is safe for your child.
