bipolar disorder. It works by preventing extreme mood swings and brain signals that trigger seizures or fits. It also helps in the prevention of migraine. Side effects of this medication are nausea, vomiting,
blurred vision, dizziness, hair loss, sleepiness, weight gain, tremor, double vision, impaired coordination, weakness, increased appetite, abdominal pain, abnormal thoughts, diarrhea or constipation, depression, nystagmus or involuntary eye movement, hay fever, nervousness, ecchymosis, flu like symptoms, loss of memory, indigestion,
peripheral edema, drowsiness, fatigue, tiredness, ataxia, allergic reactions etc. If side effects persist for long or if they bother you, then you should consult your doctor immediately for
medical help. Don't stop taking this medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.
