Hello is there any signs that someone can look for in ones self for hepatitis C if you have never been tested for it? and what damage does the disease cause, and to what part of the body, and is there any treatment for it? if you do have it what is the treatments available and how does it help? will it stop further damage from hepatitis c or possibly cure it? thank you for any info..
Hi, hepatitis c is viral infection of liver,usually spread via blood to blood contact like blood transfusions, iv drug abuse etc generally is diagnosed during routine screening or among drug abusers or before receiving blood. Nasea,vomiting, weight loss,anorexia,muscle pain etc.mainly it damage liver tissue up to liver failure. No definitive treatment but mainly antiviral drugs with symptomatic treatment.very rarely disease can be cured.
