What Are The Small Blisters Like Bumps On The Legs That Are Itchy?
I have patches of small blister like bumps on my legs. At first I thought they came from mosquito bites. I have used cortisone and bendryal creams, but they still continue to itch turn red. The places look better than they act up again in 48 hours.
You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease. Such itchy skin lesions over the legs can be due to folliculitis also. You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid and antibiotic combination cream over the affected area twice a day for few days. Take some oral antihistamines along. See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy. You might need a course of oral steroids or oral antibiotics according to the assessment of the skin condition.
Hope it helps,
Dr Geetika Paul.
