Hi, Welcome to HCM. You had a vaginal contact. The lesions in the mouth due to STD causes are unlikely. Early manifestations of HIV can occur only after 3-4 weeks and not earlier. So the symptoms started a week after the contact is unlikely due to HIV also. The negative HIV test 75 days after the high risk contact is almost reliable. If you had mental disturbance and doubts about the result, it is better to repeat the test after 90 days once again and get a non reactive result which will relieve your tension. Dr S.Murugan
Thanks for your question.HIV is not diagnosed on the basis of symptoms and needs evidence of positive HIV report.Though the risk of contracting HIV from sex with a ruptured condom is equivalent to that of having unprotected sex, but it also requires prolonged contact with the infected body fluids and the status of the sex worker is unknown so the likelihood of transmission is not likely , still you will require blood test for HIV @3 months of exposure to be absolutely sure of your status.Hope it helps.
