Hi Doctor, I have all symptoms of UTI. I made urine culture test and also mycoplasma, chlamidia test, but all these tests shown NEGATIVE. I believe that I need to keep making urine culture test till it shows any bacteria because I have all symptoms of UTI. How many times the urine culture test could be negative before it shows any bacteria? Should it show any bacteria in next testing if I have the symptoms?? I don t know what kind of antibiotics I should take without correct results.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Symptoms of urinary tract infection are pain at time of urination, burning, back pain, fever with of without chills. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful in urinary tract infection. Ig is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
