What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Colorectal Cancer?
Doctor, This is a question related to my Father. He is 80. For the last two months, he is complaining that not getting motion freely. Sometimes motion happens once in 4 to 5 days. He finds stomach is loaded but no motion happens. Is there any possibility of problems related to Colorectal cancer. He has adeno carcinoma (Lung cancer)in fourth stage. Is it possible this can influence his digestive system (rectal canal)? Thank you, Sridhara

In my opinion you should get done CT scan of abdomen.
As your father may have metastases in gastrointestinal tract.
As adenocarcinoma of lung are notorious to bowel spread. So we need to rule out this first.
And altered bowel habits is one of the earliest symptom of bowel metastasis.
So better to rule out this in early stages. So get done CT abdomen first.
