What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Pre Teething In A Child?

Our eleven month old has been gagging every morning (For about a week), is this likely a sign of pre teething (perhaps choking on extra saliva) or do we need to get her to the doctors office. She does not do this any other time of the day.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This is unlikely from teething. If there is no actual vomiting, chocking or breath-holding, we need not worry much; otherwise this needs detailed evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
