What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Yeast Infection?

Hi, I think I have a yeast infection. The beginning of last week my vaginal area was itchy and burning. I did have discharge that looked like cottage cheese and I also have swollen lymph nodes in my groin. Does a yeast infection symptoms include having swollen lymph nodes? I m scared that it means something else

Hello,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question. With the available information from your side, I can say that you are having candida infection.
Itching and discharge are more common in candida infection. sometimes it can be associated with enlarged lymph nodes. So you need to take intravaginal antifungal tablets and also clotrimazole tablets orally for 7 days. Keep your private parts absolutely clean with soap and water everytime you go to toilet and keep it dry. Avoid sexual intercourse during the course of treatment. You can also do blood CBC and urine routine micro examination and get back to me after having reports.
So don't get scared and start treatment and you will get well very soon.
This will surely help you to get rid off your problem.
