What Are The Symptoms Of HIV Infection?

I believe I may have contracted the HIV virus. I was in a pool with a significant other, this was the first and last time we engaged in sex, kind of he inserted his penis about halfway but then pulled out because a friend came to the pool. About a week later I got a yeast infection, after that stopped about three weeks later I wasn't feeling well had diarrhea trouble sleeping and slight night sweats. I also got my period two weeks early, but didn't think much of it because I moved into a house with two girls and we synced cycles, I have also had abnormal discharge slight itching, and dryness. is it possible for me to ha e contracted hiv?

hello, what you have complained are features of acute HIV infection but since they are common features of most viral infections depending on your symptoms only we can't say for certain.
According to the details of your sexual encounter also chances are low. But still it is better to get your blood tested for HIV for the definite fiagnosis. Since now 4 weeks has elapsed after the sexual encounter timing is also good for testing. hope this helps. thank you
