Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have an ovarian cyst and had a transvaginal ultrasound which I do not have the results of yet. During the ultrasound the tech had trouble finding the left ovary. I am 61 years old and concerned about cancer. I have read that tubal ligation, birth control pills and no history of cancer are in your favor as far as the cyst not being malignant? I had one pregnancy in my late 20s.
