I m 26 year married woman. My periods are regular that is it comes for every 32 days. I got married 7 months back. I have severe menstruation cramps. My right ovary nd back pains horribly. From past 2 months on the first day it s not bleeding. I can just see a brownish blood clot. From second day it bleeds ... red liquid along with few blood clots which are very small. Back in india when I visited doctor she said I have pcod. I got pregnant the very first month I got married as we didn t take precautions. I visited a doctor here in usa where she confirmed I was 4 weeks pregnant and said I don t have pcod.she also said If u have had pcod u wouldn t have conceived. As we weren t ready for baby I had an abortion going to clinic. My question is do I have pcod? What tests are to be made to test if I have pcod.do I have to worry about my periods which comes for every 32 days? Do I have to worry about the blood clots which sometimes are more than a quarter ?
Hi, Gone through your question, you need not worry for occasional clots. Your cycles are almost regular, so ovulating at regular interval. Pcod is not a disease , its syndrom mainly due to hormonal disturbances leading to acne, male distribution of hairs like at mustache and beard, irregular periods and some times disturbed Insulin levels. If you are having more tension of pcos you may go for Hormone profile with fasting Insulin level check up.
