What are the symptoms of a hiatal hernia? I ve been told in the past that I have that. My symptoms are an intermittent dull headache, intermittent nausea especially after eating, and hiccups. I also have occasional problems with my voice being hoarse.

In hiatus hernia, acid reflux can occur. So nausea feeling can be present because of posterior pharynx irritation. For symptomatic relief Rabeprazole can be prescribed. Avoid excess spicy foods. If hoarse voice present then it's advisable to investigate with indirect laryngoscopy.
