The symptoms like depressed feelings, excessive spending, drinking, sleep problems, struggling with speech etc need proper evaluation. These symptoms can occur due to depression or may be due to bipolar disorder. Though more symptoms are needed to make proper diagnosis. If these symptoms are causing significant impairment in your day to day functioning then consult a psychiatrist for help.
In depressive symptoms medicines like SSRIs or SNRIs are commonly used. These medicines help to improve the symptoms and increase confidence. Apart from medicines non-medicinal treatment in form of Cognitive Therapy also helps to reduce the symptoms and improve faulty cognitive distortions.
Visit a psychiatrist for evaluation of symptoms and help.
Thanks
