What Are The Symptoms Of Endometriosis?

I'm looking to talk to someone regarding my endometriosis and about how severe the symptoms are becoming, it is no longer confined to when i have my period. I have a 7 year history of endo and within the last year and a half, EVERY day i am awoken by pain in my intestines and stomach and nausea so severe that i either throw up, dry heave and then the nausea persists all day, as well as running to the toilet 8-9 times pooping in the first hour of awakening, my gynecologist is not so concerned over these symptoms and is thinking of surgery and is telling me it may be more than 3 months from now pls help :(

Hi,

Welcome to healthcaremagic.

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Endometriosis symptoms depend on how severe the grade of endometriosis is.

2) It is commonly presented as painful menses, dysmenorrhea.

3) Laparoscopy is the best way to diagnose and treat endometriosis.

Let me know if you have any more queries.
