What Are The Symptoms Of Epilepsy?

For the last year I have been randomly passing out... or at least I thought it was passing out because no one had been there to see it before. Yesterday, I blacked out twice. The first time I was completely concious, but when my eyes were open it was black and there was a deafinging ringing in my ears, and I was also shaking. The second episode, I had lost conciousness completely, and woke up to a couple people standing around me and an emergency responce team putting me on a strecher. one lady who had seen me fall told them that I was having convolsions. I do no have the money to be seen by a doctor. Could this be epilepsy or is there something else wrong. The ER doctors don't have a clue as to what is wrong.
