What Are The Symptoms Of Giardia?
I contracted gardia in nepal about ten years ago. I took flaggel [ im not sure how you spell that] Ever since i have had diatry problems. I cant eat dariy or any thing containing yeast!!! I bloat get gas have truble breathing and get stinking winde reflux and a terrible taste in my mouth. But these problems vary in sevarity some times worse than others. I have just had an episode a bad one followed by liquid diorea and sulphic burps. The burps are so bad that they made me want to vomit. Could this be gardia could it have stayed with me and what should i do about it? Sorry for my bad spelling

The symptoms are pain in the abdomen, diarrhea, belching, bloating, fat in stool, indigestion, nausea, or passing excessive amounts of gas, fatigue, loss of appetite, malaise, or malnutrition, cramping, foul-smelling stool, or weight loss diagnosed by stool examination, string test and duodenal aspiration and biopsy.
Treatment depends on the cause of your symptoms. Metronidazole or Nitazoxanide drug may useful for your problem. If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
