What Are The Symptoms Of Hashimotos Thyroiditis And PCOS?

My husband and i started the HOMEOPATHIC hcg diet drops and VLCD about two weeks ago...fell off the wagon b/c we were extremely hungry and weak....i also noticed that I broke out with acne on both cheeks and major vaginal dryness....can the drops cause these symptoms? I am 33. Weight is 290 lbs and height is 5'6. i also have hashimotos thyroiditis and PCOS.

Hi

It is difficult to say that the drops are the reason for your problem , however time course of the event does suggest that it is the most likely etiology.

I would suggest you to get done the following investigations

1. 24 Hour urine free cortisol
2. Serum Testosterone
3. Free t4 and TSH
4. Serum DHEAS
