Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother s heart keeps beating fastly until she cannot sleep at night .I dont know why this thing happens, I have searched in the net and most of the searches suggested it might be tye symptoms of menopause. But my mother s age is around 38 years old.We have consulted many doctors but until now noone of tgem can identify the real problem .......pls help me with this.A prompt reply would be appreciated
Hi There I really appreciate your concern for your mother's health and I want to tell you that she is just in her late 30's and this is not the age for a menopause (after 45 is usual age). I would like to suggest that you should get her Thyroid profile checked as well as a 24 hrs ambulatory ECG monitoring (Holter). So its advisable that you should consult a cardiologist personally for evaluating the cause of her palpitations.
I wish her good health
