Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi dear,
thank you for your query.
To diagnose depression there are particular criteria like presence of some symptoms for particular time of period and with social, functional, personal disturbance .
Symptoms like low mood and lack of interest whole day, sleep and appetite disturbance, fatigue, suicidal ideas or death wishes, psychomotor agitation or retardation etc.. five or more symptoms must be present.
So consult local psychiatrist for detail history and mental status examination.
What you describe suggest you ave mild depression like dysthymic disorder.
No need to worry.
Take any anti depressant treatment for sort period,
Thank you
