I am 4 days late with all the signs of being pregnant but a positive test and experienced light bleeding on and off the last two days. I experienced more bleeding as if it was my period and am having bad stomached pains, nausea, tired ....I'm feeling really awful. Could I be pregnant?
Hello, this is Dr. Herisa answering to your question. I can understand your problem. First thing I would recommend to you is that do not read too much internet articles about pregnancy signs, otherwise you will confuse yourself more. 4 days of late periods sometimes it is called normal, because due to external factors e.x. stress it happens later, even a positive test should be repeated once more. False positive answers may be present on a pregnancy test, but when it is repeated once more then the probability of giving a reliable result of course is greater. After this you should contact a gynecologist so that perhaps you could detect the betaHCG in blood, which is a hormone in high levels when a woman is pregnant and a very reliable test. After this an ultrasonography examination may be very helpful. You should stay calm and do not feel awful. These kinds of examinations can help you to get an answer. Best regards
