we are travling north from fl. my wife has hurting in middle of chest, at the top of her stomach, it hurts throug to her back, at times shes a little sick to her stomach, this started about three days ago, hurts mostly after she eats, seems to ease a little after she lays down for a while, has never shown to have an ulcer.
Hello I really appreciate your concern her symptoms are suggestive of gastrointestinal disorder like acid peptic disease like peptic ulcer or liver and gall bladder disease I would like further information to help you better 1 Her age and relevant medical history 2. If she has taken any medicines 3. Have you seen your doctor and ordered any investigation please upload me the reports 4. does she have acid reflux or regurgitation?
I see patients with similar complaints in my clinic routinely I would advise them to take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or omeprazole with antacids for 7 to 10 days. If symptoms doesn't improve with this than I would have referred her to gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and X ray chest. Apart from this she should avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food Avoid alcohol and smoking Please feel free to ask for more clarification I will definitely help you in best possible way wish you good health
