Can you advise me what symptons to look for when diagnosing throat cancer. I've had a persistant dry tickly cough now for at least 2 months. I haven't had a cold or been ill in anyway, and I'm a non smoker. I am a 63 year old male. It's not a constant cough, but persistant, and seems to be getting worse. It doesn't wake me at night, just troublesome during the day. My throat isn't sore or swollen.
nagging cough is a warning sign for cancer, but it doesnt mean its 100 percent cancer, its safe to get checked and rule out cancer. other reasons can be allergy to some agent you got exposed to recently and constantly around it. Meet an ENT doctor and rule out cancer.
