What Are The Symptoms Of Veruccas?

I've got a cluster of "holes" on one of my heels - the skin around them has gone white and hard and it looks as if the skin has been eaten away. My boyfriend thinks they're veruccas but there's no black dot in the middle of them. My heel can get quite sore if I stand for a long time. Any suggestions?!
