Hello,
I appreciate your concern for your friend and can understand your friend's problem.
I would like to enlighten you that in most women after
menopause, calcium and vitamin D deficiency is very common. Vitamin D deficiency can lead to
osteomalacia in adults, which means softening of bones, which leads to fractures after trivial trauma.
I would suggest to take vitamin D supplements along with
calcium supplements daily. Also would advise few things like take milk and milk products, healthy diet, have a sun bath in early morning for at least 5 days a week, take care of
high blood pressure by taking regular medicines and regular follow up, avoid extra salt intake in diet, check blood sugar, do meditations to remain
stress free, etc.
Hope this answers your question and let me know directly if you have any further relevant queries, i will be obliged to guide you in right direction.
