What Are The Thick Lines Darker In Color Under The Armpit?
Hello, on the inside of my elbow (the pit) there are thickish lines of slightly darker skin color. If I scratch over it, these lines show the skin flaking off. They look sort of shiny compared to my normal skin around it. Also right near the inside of my elbow right near it is a patch of very lightly dis colored skin that appears to be in like a speckled pattern bunched together if you get what I mean. It s hard to explain but I would like to know what this is. It s been there for a long time, and I don t know if it s harmful. Please help
It may be acanthosis nigricans. It may be benign without cause. Or there may be some cause like obesity, diabetes or some other internal disease.Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. After thorough examination and investigations, find out the cause if there and get the proper treatment. For the skin lesion, apply salicylic acid oint 6% daily at night and alovera with vitamin E cream in the morning.Take vitamin E cap and vitamin C tablet daily for the long time.
Hope this helps.
