What Are The Tiny Electric Shocks I Get On My Arms And Chest?

i get a tiny electric shock starting from under my arepit on my chest that connect under my uper arm. it is right on the surface and not deep. it feels like the current is leaving my chest area and arking at my arm. it only last for a second but I my have 10 or 15 in a day. tks ron

Hi,

These types of sensations are called as paresthesia, and paresthesia most commonly occurs as a result of nerve compression or injury. Superficial paresthesia may occur as a result of neuritis as well. You need to take some over the counter anti-inflammatory medication for a week, if the symptoms subside well and good, if not further evaluation in the form of x rays and blood tests will be required.
