hello, Back in January I was in Amsterdam and had vaginal intercourse with a Worker, I wore a condom but my question is i had razor burn from a week prior and was wondering if their was a chance of getting HIV from Vaginal secretion in that area? I am pretty nervous its almost been three months now, and this past week I have felt pretty fatigued and mild head aches.
Hello As you mentioned that there was razor burn a week prior to this encounter ( sexual contract ).
There was a condom on your penis , so this was a protected sex. Main concern is vaginal secretion (fluid ) , although it contains HIV depending on type of virulent strains but in your case most safe point is scab formation on the wound due to razor burn . Immediately after injury or burn there develop scab ( healing of wound starts and a layer formed ), a same thing happened in your case. In my opinion this is not possible to get HIV infection in this way . But you are in stress and almost three months passed so get in antigen antibody test for HIV confirmation ( Immunoassays i.e. ELISA test pcr , dna ) . Headache and fatigue may be due to tension and anxiety. Hope this will help you.
