What Are The Treatment Options For Blocked Arteries?
Hello! My mother lives in California and I in Colorado. She is Japanese so she doesn t understand everything the doctor told her. The doctor told her that she has 80% blockage of the arteries and is in need of a stent. I am going to call the doctor tomorrow and ask him questions. What kind of questions should I be asking? I plan to fly out if needed, but my mother says this surgery is not a big deal and I think it is. Any wise counsel would be greatly appreciated.

If your mother is experiencing chest pain or shortness of breath then she might need stenting of the involved coronary artery.
