Hello,

Get the surgery done, get the repair done. Give time for the wound to heal. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Application of another implant immediately may not be recommended by your treating Surgeon. No one will want to take the risk. ED cab be treated with medication, physical therapy, psychotherapy, and surgery.

Some medication especially PDE-5 inhibitors are effective, among which sildenafil, vardenafil, tadalafil, and avanafil have better efficacy. Acupuncture also improves penile blood circulation and regulates the sensitivity of nerves to relieve the symptoms of ED. Vascular regeneration and tissue repair by low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy effectively helps to treat ED.

Electrical stimulation techniques for ED have shown positive outcomes, vacuum erectile devices (VED). are helpful. Injection in the shaft of the penis is helpful to maintain erection. The injected medication improves blood flow, leading to firmer erections in 15 minutes. Medications used for injections contains alprostadil, phentolamine, and papaverine. Do not take medicines without consultation with a GP.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
