pilonidal sinus are changing hormones,hair growth,friction (from clothes or from spending a long time in a sitting position) and infection.
As you are not experiencing
severe pain, and there is no sign of inflammation, you doctor will usually prescribe
1.A broad-spectrum antibiotic (an antibiotic effective in treating a wide range of different bacteria).
2.Regular
hair removal (shaving) of the site and particular attention to hygiene.
3.Hot compresses and
4.Application of some creams.
If it is not improving then your surgeon may think of doing excision and closure.
