What Are The Treatments For Eye Leakage?

I had an eye exam on Friday morning. During the exam when the Dr put the extremely bright light in my eyes my right eye began to leak, profusely. It has been 72 hours and it is non stop. Please tell me if this is an emergency situation,or will it go away? The office says Dr is on vacation... Please help, it's not at all painful itself but my eyelids are starting to get raw and irritated due to the contant wiping. Thank you.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having watering of eye following an eye examination.
This may indicate injury to the corneal epithelium while examination.
This decrease with the healing of the epithelial defect and it may take 3 days for the healing.
The treatment is by antibiotic eye drops to prevent secondary infection.

Thank you
