What Are The Treatments For Skin Peeling, Pain And Red Color In Face?
Hi, I m having an issue with my skin on my face. It started as two small dry patches on either side of my nose but now my whole face is peeling and is red; it feels irritated and it hurts when I touch my face. I ve tried various face washes and treatments but nothing helps. What is it?
You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease. Such a skin allergy over the face can develop due to use of any new cream or facewash over the face. Even application of any new cosmetics can be the reason. Another reason can be sensitivity to sun exposure. You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days. Take some oral antihistamines along. See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy. You might need a course of oral steroids.
Hope it helps,
