What Are The Troubles In Medical Abortion?

Good morning. To everybody My question is ,my wife she is 25age. Is pregnant from last month of June 2014 but unfortunately Dr say USG features are s/o missed abortion need . Now she is aditmited I hospital in lat 4days .Dr says we wait since last 4 days throgh medical abortion now we have to surgical abortion,any problem happen with that kindly suggest me

Medical abortion can be induced until 9 weeks of pregnancy, preferably until 7 weeks of pregnancy as results are somewhat unsatisfactory after this period. I would like to know if the doctor who is attending on your wife tried to induce a medical abortion and is planning to go ahead with a surgical abortion since the medical abortion had failed, because, this is what happens usually in such situations. The clotting and bleeding should be done as a mandatory process since more than any situation, a missed abortion can lead to bleeding defects if left alone for a longer period. Hope this helps.
