What Are The Underlying Causes For Grinding Pain In My Left Shoulder?
I have a friend who is suffering from a grinding pain in his left shoulder, he hasn't been lifting any heavy weights and can't remember feeling any pain due to an injury. The pain just started without any known cause ?? could you please help to diagnose what this could be... Thank you... Maria.
Shoulder pain with no injury are usually due to a degenerative condition. Amongst the causes, your friend could be suffering from one of the below: - Tendinitis - Dislocation - Bursitits - Rotator cuff rupture - Fracture (rare when there is no injury) etc. The only way to know for sure the actual cause for your friend's intense shoulder pain is to see a doctor who can examine him and request an x-ray or MRI or CT scan. After which, specific treatment can be provided.
