Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thank you for the query.
Both Arcoxia and Sulfasalazine can rarely cause anemia. It can result from decreased production of red blood cells in the bone marrow or increased destruction of the red blood cells. These can occur rarely from the two medicines. The anemia may also occur from a blood loss from the GI tract if you are having abdominal pain or burning. There are other non related causes like iron or vitamin deficiency.
You should see your doctor and the anemia should be investigated to know the cause. In the mean while you should eat a wholesome food rich in green leafy vegetables and iron.
Take Care
