What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Microgestin?

I started birth control. On my first pack. I use microgestin. Started my period the day I started my pills. Took them as normal. But started my period after 2nd brown pill. Do I continue with this pack? Does this brand also help clear acne? What does this brand of birth control do?

I understand your query.
THe brown pill in the pack is a reminder pill-which reminds you to start with new pack the next day current pack is over.
Reminder pack is non hormonal , & it allows vaginal bleeding. You have it on 2nd day of the brown pill.. taht means your period has started. continue with the same pills till they are finished--^=&start with new pack the next day.
Microgestin being a combined hormone preparation , it does not cure pimples.
This bradnd of birth control avoids ovulation/ increases cervical mucus to prevent sperm entry in vagina/ it acts on inner lining of uterus to prevent implantation of fertilized ovum -- Thus it's a three wy pronge to prevent child birth!
It can also prevent heavy periods.
