What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Misoprostol Dosage?

Hi, I took my misoprostol at home, after letting it dissolve I swallowed the remainder 30 minutes later. I vomited about 20 minutes after that. I called the clinic who said this was fine, just looking for a second opinion. Should I be concerned about the medication working effectively because of this?

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Misoprostol.
However some data is lacking: Age, gender, what is the purpose of taking Misoprostol in your case.

It is used to prevent the acidity related stomach ulcer caused by NSAID drugs.This medication protects the stomach lining by lowering the amount of acid that comes in contact with it.
It is also used in combination with another drug (mifepristone) to terminate a pregnancy (abortion).

The common side effects are: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, dehydration and vaginal bleeding which can be severe.

It is contraindicated during pregnancy.
